Nearly all our cereal seed is grown and processed by us to ensure that you have a choice of appropriate varieties for the southwest that are produced to the highest possible standard. Timely deliveries of the right varieties with the correct seed dressing are what we do well.
All our spring barley and oat varieties have been selected for their suitability for growing in the South West. The main foliar disease we suffer from in spring barley is Rynchosporium and all four varieties have a resistance rating of 6 against the disease. There are one or two higher yielding varieties on the list but they do not have a good enough resistance to Rynchosporium for us to consider recommending them for growing.
